Oregon Trails Coalition Steering Committee Applications Open through Nov. 30th!

The Oregon Trails Coalition Steering Committee is currently recruiting new Steering Committee Members. The Coalition Steering Committee:

  • Oversees work of Coalition Director

  • Votes to adopt Coalition advocacy platforms, etc

  • Is charged with Steering Committee and Advisory Council member recruitment, nomination, and election

  • Monitors and assesses sound and compliant financial management practices (including budgeting)

  • Aids in development and maintenance of beneficial relationships with donors, funders, supporters, collaborators, allies, vendors, and other stakeholders

  • Champions the organization and advocates its mission to internal and external stakeholders


Steering Committee members will serve for staggered 3-year terms. The Steering Committee is recruiting for the following positions: Vice/ Incoming Chair, Secretary, Equity Officer.

Join current Steering Committee and Advisory Council members at the Trail (Coalition) Mix(er), Friday, October 28th, 5:15-7:15 pm at Chicali Cantina in Welches (following the Oregon Outdoor Recreation Summit.)

Join us to socialize, learn more about Advisory Council and Steering Committee roles, and answer any questions you have.

Light appetizers will be provided by the Steering Committee. Drinks and dinner available for purchase. RSVP.
