Register now to join Oregon trail advocates at the State Capitol in Salem to spread the love of trails!

Our morning legislative training will aim to ensure everyone understands the issues and feels confident meeting with legislators, we'll work to schedule meetings for you with your legislators and with key committee members, and will host a Trail Mix(er) for legislators, staff, and advocates in the Capitol.

This is a short legislative session, and we don't expect any major trails funding to move this session, but we're hoping to see action on recreational liability/waiver reform and lay the groundwork for more trails funding in 2027.

Our Platform:

  • More than 80% of Oregonians use local trails and are happier, healthier and more connected to their communities because of it. We need to invest in the development and stewardship of our communities' trails!

  • We need more balanced recreation liability laws in line with our neighboring states. We support the Oregon Recreation Commerce and Affordability Act.

  • Multi-use Paths are a critical part of our transportation networks. We support the passage of transportation accountability measures in 2026, and a transportation funding package that increases funding for Oregon Community Paths in 2027.

Come deliver a breath of fresh air to legislators by sharing your love and care for trails at the Capitol.
