Access Recreation Training: Trail Accessibility Assessment and Inclusive Information

This training is relevant for folks in a variety of roles from tourism partners, front desk, administration and communications, park rangers, maintenance workers and volunteers with direct contact with the public.


The 2-hour virtual training offered on May 30, 2023 included a presentation from Access Recreation (AR) on the "Guidelines for Providing Trail Information to People with Disabilities" and the supporting project: AccessTrails, an agency perspective from

Patrick Stark from the US Fish and Wildlife Service, and discussion breaks with training attendees.


Offered with support from Travel Oregon and the Oregon Trails Fund and the Mt. Hood and Columbia River Gorge Regional Tourism Alliance.
